Fine hair and natural dreadlock extensions - A guaranteed change of look

Since 2017 I've been caring for the dreadlocks of Morgane, one of my very regular customers. One of her friends, Aurore, dreamed of daring to wear natural dreadlocks like her. She wanted to completely change her look and style, despite her short, fine hair. After a lot of thought, and reassured by my work, Aurore decided one day to take the plunge.

After receiving the photos I always ask for before making a decision, I was able to analyze the color, quality and texture of her hair. Aurore has fine, short, bleached hair that's not easy to work with. So I suggested that she create a natural dreadlock extension, blond and fine, with small brush tips.

Personalized advice and design

To achieve a natural, harmonious final result, I advised Aurore to mix three complementary extension colors: platinum blonde, chestnut and light chestnut.

Once the choice of size and color had been validated, the painstaking work of fitting them began. After fitting the locks, Aurore agreed to receive a decoration. Crossed pearls and threads to enhance her new look.

Super enthusiastic about her new haircut, I finished off by showing her various possible hairstyles. There are lots of hairstyles to choose from. Chignons, braids and half-tops to suit your mood and your desires.

The evolution of lock extensions

Aurore has now been wearing her locks for 2 years. She comes 3 times a year to my hair salon, which specializes in natural dreadlocks. Her goal is to have beautiful, healthy locks that evolve regularly. At the beginning of 2024, Aurore opted for a layered cut with platinum highlights going down to the tips. What a change! She's delighted with her new style and her relationship with her locks.
